Don't ask executive board members, they aren't too bright. I'd say ask the guy in charge of the checkbook, but Martin struggles with the truth like he would running an incident as a supposed battalion chief. Ask Pat Cleary this question point blank at a union meeting. "Pat, yes or no, have you been receiving a paycheck from both the union and city since being elected President effective April 30th 2023 effectively receiving compensation from both the City of Chicago and Local 2?". If he answers 'yes, BUT I'm saving the union money by ...'. I would interrupt him with "your yes was sufficient, thank you". Then you have your answer.
