On Tuesday, Bob Mayes and I spent the day on the Carden Alvar. Below are some to the birds that we were able to photograph. We failed to spot a Loggerhead Shrike, but that is simply Nature's canny way of putting out an invitation for us to return soon to this fascinating area.
