Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Fate found that as she continued the steps became more natural and less forced, the habit was quickly setting in, but it would take many weeks until she was sure it wouldn't slip away and to completely perfect the technique. Icy eyes caught the smile on Dracana's maw, it was the first and Fate figured it would be one of the few she would ever see from the grey wolfess.

As they went higher Fate found it harder to breath. She began to stop at odd intervals in order to catch her breath before continuing. On the fourth time she had to stop, she knew she was starting to fall behind, something that Fate herself or she figured Dracana would tolerate.

Pushing herself forward she could feel her lungs burn with the lack of oxygen, and it took deep breaths to satisfy the bodies need for air. Her respites still occurred but less frequently and occasionally the oxygen lack would make her forget the light placing of her paws that she needed to master. It took her a few extra minutes after Dracana had reached the ledge for the young pup to join her on the high ledge. Still straining for some air she sat on the ledge panting slightly trying to refresh her body with some air. While she waiting for her next order she pondered what the advantages were of training on the mountain.
