Bob: thank you for your comments, I do agree there are some very good people that do visit the area. But one thing that you do not realize that it is not just Wylie road that has issues, our roads are in disrepair and through the winter season we are lucky to get our vehicles down them to go home, so when the spring, summer and fall arrive we are now having trouble travelling our roads as most people have the feeling this area is all conservation lands and feel that the roads are just pathways to view the area. The landowners are mostly farmers and just folks trying to make a living, and Mr. Murr was quite clear about the restrictions that would be placed on the landowner and or the tenant, when an endangered species or unusual vegetation is found. Would these same people be prepared to give up their livihood for someone they didn't even know? The conservation lands are a wonderful idea and certainly we want you and the persons who like to view birds and vegetation go to those lands and enjoy what it has to offer, through Ontario and Federal monies that we all contribute to, also individuals that donate to such a great cause and have achieved to purchase these lands. When you say there is no reason we why we all can not enjoy and protect this land together, certainly the conservation lands, by all means. The individual Landowners have bought and paid for that privilege and paying tax dollars for the ownership of the land. Would the people who come to visit feel the same if it was the land and their home? We do respect the conservation lands, wonderful properties. hopefully folks will come to respect the ownership of private lands. I don't believe RESPECT constitutes CONFLICT.
