Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Vidar didn't think too much of the cub edging away from him. He wasn't too keen on others body language. His head tilted once more, some snow falling off to join its brethren. Deep Amber eyes looked over the cub carefully...he was a strange looking pup indeed. Well, apparently cub, whatever that is. Ears more rounded, muzzle different than that of a canine. "A cub?" he said questionably. His white paws, blending in with the snow, moved Vidar forward, his nose sniffing intently the whole time. Puffs of air could be seen exiting his nares as he got very close to the cub, almost touching him, getting a good wiff of his scent.

"Well, you are definitely not of the canine sort. Your scent makes no sense to me. You are called a cub by your kind, eh? A...Liger Cub?" he said as he sat on his black haunches. His tail tip had the slightest of wag, but was more noticeable in the white of the snow. Vidar's face turned serious again, which was partly his natural dog look. This time concern was more apparent due to the cub's feeding situation.

"I am afraid you are not going to find much to eat on a mountain. Maybe a mouse or two if you are lucky..." he said, pausing a moment as he realized that is a suitable meal for Squall's size. Yet...he didn't even know what cubs ate.

"Uh....What is it your kind eats, anyway? Maybe I can be of some help." he said, his voice a bit more friendly...but that is as friendly Vidar ever got vocally. He watched the cub intently, gathering as much information he could. He didn't know how large liger cubs got, if the cub was full grown, or anything of the sort. There was a lot to learn about this particular creature, and Vidar was open to any creature that wasn't human.

"Oh, and I am Vidar by the way." he said, a bit hastily knowing name introductions usually happen before a conversation.
