Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

The response made her polite smile widen into a mocking smile. She padded forward about a foot and whisked her tail. She easily recognized the fear in the large brute, both in his eyes and minutely detectable in his voice, for Sin was highly intuitive and easily read others and was able to manipulate rather easily when she wanted to. So she was no stranger to these kinds of things or situations.

“Well Bear,” She repeated the words from before. “Any stones atop the mountain are not yours, and you would surely die on your way to the top. But I don’t think you will get that far anyway…” She said, a dangerous glint in her darkening eyes. She came closer again and remained standing. This bear was funny, being fearful and cowardly, it was pathetic really. Not to mention weak, and the strong always opposed the weak, this would be fun indeed. She was now 5 feet from the bear, still out of its reach but close enough for her liking. “And, my dragon Desmond, he rather likes bear meat, and hates bears for some reason.” She decided to explain, she spoke slowly, even crooning softly. She spoke like she was explaining something to a child, and a frightened one at that, and she was being so contradictive. Her voice lured you into a false sense of security, while sensing imminent death about its tones.

And better, she was feeling like this might be what she was looking for; blood.

She had her head back level, now with the appearance of a deadly predator having spotted its prey. She whisked her bushy black tail again and kept her ears pricked forward. Suddenly, a powerful jolt of electricity shot from out of nowhere aimed right in the center of the bears’ chest. It was travelling at the speed of light, and given their 5 feet of distance there would be no dodging the force of nature. It was strong, possibly even strong enough to stop its heart and kill it right then and there, but she wouldn’t know for certain. She then used her Bind Blessing and sent clear snake like bindings towards the bear that would wrap themselves around its legs, impossible to dodge. A second after she used Bind she used Acidity and sent a pool of acid straight for the bear. Her attacks were a second or 2 after each other, and given their proximity there was basically no chance of evasion. It all played out in Sin’s mind; the bear would be hit and surely stunned by the lightning, and then bound before he had time to recover and then severely burned/melted by the acid. Things would just have to play out, and even if some attacks were countered somehow, she had plenty more in her arsenal. The blessings she used only took a couple of breaths away from her, no worries yet.
