Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Once again the bear fell prey to her merciless claws, now coated with poison. If the bear didn’t know by now, once the pain of it started to run in his blood he would know something was up with her now. The bear moved its paw off her shoulder again, adding a new sting when he touched the new wound. It caused her to hiss and lash her tail again. Soon, the fire was doing its work on the bear, maybe even a little too well. In the back of her mind she wondered if the fire would even reach her, but she was taken by surprise when the bear kicked madly, so she leapt clear, finally ending the flames. The smell of roasted meat however clung to the air and filled her nostrils. The bear went for a snow covered bush. There was yet another roar, questioning, almost pleading this time. She answered it with one of her own but strict and firm in getting the message across to her dragon.

She quickly turned to the bear and decided while he was busy to go for a combination attack. She once again used Bind, sending the clear snake like wrappings towards the bear. She walked towards the bear, a grimace of a snarl of her maw as a couple seconds after, once she knew the bear would be already bound, she used one of her favorite-not to mention lethal- combinations. She combined Water Breath and Lightning. An icy cold jet of water swiftly made its way to the bear, and surrounding it and racing across its surface were the flashes of electricity, its static crackling in the air with its stronger voltage. Lightning and electricity was deadly in its own right, but combine it with water and its damage would only intensify and increase. Surely this would be the killing blow enough to stop its heart, especially with all of its wounds and now poisoning-and the water to intensify the damage and lethality. The blessings were finally pushing past her endurance and she was beginning to feel the fatigue creep and settle in. She continued to fight it though, using her reserves and managing to not show any weakness to the bear. There was an excited high-pitched squeal-like roar from above, certainly now Dez knew things were nearing. She continued to walk towards the bear, stopping just a close 4 feet. She kept her weight off of the paw that had been pinned beneath the bear, knowing it would be sprained and not want to test it just yet.

“All life dies. If there is guaranteed perpetual existence after death, does it matter how the end comes? Why bother fighting…?” She said in an enticingly dark tone. This was a mind game now, and she was the master. A chuckle followed after, laughing at her own game. “, Take it…embrace it, it would be a much kinder end, don’t you think? Her voice was smooth and velvet, running like a fine whiskey off her tongue as she tempted the bear. Her orbs lost their black streaks, and were replaced by the luminous glow of the sapphire flames. The Angel of Death would be jealous at how well and nearly irresistible she made the offer seem, accepting its own demise. That was what she was now, or #### near close. And if it refused, it would only encounter more pain and suffering before its inescapable and almost predestined end would be forced upon it.

“I can take the pain away.” She said then, coming closer now and pausing maybe 4 feet from him. She tested her sprained paw, feeling the sharp pain go up her leg, but it only lasted a second, and she did not show anything of it. Even though it was sharp, it was quick and easily disguisable.“Or I can make it worse.” She said as her eyes gleamed, threatening to streak their deadly black again, there was a hiss in the air, coming from both her vocals and from the static she manipulated around her. “What will it be?” She finally asked with an inquiring tilt of her dark feline head.
