In reference to your email below dated 4 June 11. I will attempt to answer your concerns.

1. I don't belong to either retiree group however I am authorized to post on The Tampa Retired Fire & Police website.
2. The information I put out takes up a lot of my time. Nearly 500 F&P members receive my informational email's. It is complete and accurate.
3.The email software I use is intended for mass Emailing.
4. All PC keyboards come with a DELETE key, it is normally on the right side near the number keys, don't be afraid to use it!

Tony, I get many THANKS from both retirees' groups for the information I distribute.[i] To be perfectly honest, you are the only retiree that seems to have a problem with getting information. I knew when I started this informational email service that someone might complain.
I am not surprised it was you.

I have a couple of questions concerning the above individual? I would like to know how many secretaries the association has,is bobby buggica or is Sonny Leftstead the secretary? Why is it that I get e-mails from this person? I have sent replys to his e-mail asking him to remove my name from his mailing list but have not receive a response. I wonder how man members feel the same as I do, I'm a member and feel the membership should take the approciate action to this problem head on and not let this continue.I feel that at the luncheon the membership who agreed with me should sign a legal pad with their names and present it to Sonny leftstead at the luncheon requesting that he discontinue his e-mails to the people who signed. If he doesn't like it he can resign from the membership and association. I'm sure the board and many members feel as I do.We have an excellent board and a very dedicated secretary in bobby Buggica. If you wish to read this at the lucheon be my guest,I would like to get a response from sonny and a response to the membership and see what their feelings are on this subject. I'm in Georgia an unable to attend your luncheon but if I were down there I would address this issue whether he likes it or not. I belong to the Sams Club as the other group address our association. Thank you Tony Verducci, member of the trff association , local 754 and the long forgotten Firefighter service league when combined was a powerhouse.Let not have one small individual try to destroy our group.

Mr Lefstead,

Since you continually email me, I'm going to address a few things pertaining to you and the above email you sent out today. First, I have no idea who you are other then the frequent emails you send out. I have repeatedly asked you to STOP sending me your emails. It was I who suggested that you post all your time consuming information on this message board. You told me you didn't have time for that. You gave me the same response about hitting my delete button if I didn't want your email. I don't believe that's how it works. I did block you and now your emails end up in my SPAM folder. Again, I ask you to remove me from your email list as I don't want any information that you send me nor will any of it be posted in the newsletter. If I so choose, I can read whatever you post on here.
You seem to have this hatred for both Retiree's groups. I don't understand that. I was not involved with this Association when there was only one Retiree's group. I don't like that there are two separate groups nor the reasons and bickering that caused the split. I wish we were one, big happy family but we're not. You seem to delight in being the first one to post the same information I already receive from this Association. As far as being 'authorized' to post on our message board, you are no more special than anyone else who posts on here. Anyone, from either Retiree's group or even a non-member is welcome to post on here. All you have to do is simply register. We welcome all information, questions & comments from anyone. But quite frankly, we just don't need you. You don't provide any additional service that we already get from our own Board members. So to paraphrase you, Tony is NOT the only one that seems to have a problem with getting information from you. I, and I believe that all of our Board members, don't want your information either, and I am not speaking on their behalf. I know of no one that wants your info and/or emails either. Often, members at our meetings complain about your emails. If you feel you need some platform, maybe you can start your own Retiree's Association and anyone who wants to follow you can do just that. I never subscribed to your 'informational email service' nor do I, or many others, desire to be bothered by your annoying emails any more. So, for the final time, I am asking you to REMOVE me from your email list. It's a simple as hitting the DELETE button you told Tony and myself to do. Don't be afraid to use it. Just go through your list and DELETE me.
