He was pleased with himself to say the least. He stood in the shade of one of the trees which littered the area next to a small oasis of water watching the heat shimmer across the ground. He was searching specifcally for his white angel and her painted child. Cersei brought up rather unpleasant memories of her sire, but he shoved them aside. To be honest he had Array to thank for her currentgood fortune in finding a home. Had the stallion not gotten him kicked out he might never have stumbled across the unoccupied desert and found a place to again call his home.

It wasn't Thunderfury River, it was decidedly drier, but at least even in the dead of winter it was warm. During the days that is, at nights the temperatures still plummeted and he had tried to encourage the few residents of the land to stay together for that reason. But for now he stood soaking up the sun’s delicious rays.

He shifted his weight, he should have been able to spot either Hush or Cersei by this time and as of yet he had seen neither. All the endless terrible possibilities that might have happened to them ran across his mind. Before panic set in he let out a piercing tenor call that echoed across the barren landscape and silently prayed they would answer.
