Craigen had never been to Salem Island. Never before had he really had a desire too. But his wanderlust hooves and his sense to find out who his alliances and enemies were drove him to finally make the trek there. The bay stallion had made the swim with relative ease since he had done quite a bit of swimming lately and so his long legs propelled him through the water with their powerful kicks that also keep his head above water.
As the shore of Salem came into view, Craigen wasn’t quite sure about his decision. His thick winter hide that Tinuvel had forced him to keep would be an awful bothersome thing here. Especially since he didn’t have the structure to be equipped for the hot climates of the Island. None the less though he pulled himself from the water and stepped upon the shore to cast his gaze around for a better look. All sand and stone it seemed which made him want to just turn around and head to another Island. Only the scents of other horses keep him standing there upon the shore with the idea to at least meet one.
Turning his chocolate gaze up to the sun; it is almost straight up in the sky which marks the hottest part of the day. It would only be stupidity that would make him step into these lands without a guide for water if he was to leave the shore and so he remains there. Casting his gaze back before him, Craigen turns and began to walk down along the water’s edge still debating on whether he should call upon the horses here or not. He had made the swim after all and didn’t want it to be a waste. With a sigh he again stops and turns his blazed face out towards the open sands before him and lets out a loud bellowing call that he hoped would reach the ears of the leader to these lands.
