 Kyuui was so sweet. Already he felt a protectiveness over her. Without really knowing her the Japanese speaking beauty had capture his attention. From where he stood, she was too much like a vulnerable little sister to leave her out in this rain. As if he would do such a thing for anyone, even this Cloud character. Still, he could see the disappointment in her features when the 'truth came out' as one would say. He begins to reach out for her, to comfort her. He knew absolutely nothing of this mare but she was just.. too likeable not to be sad when she turned so sullen by a few choice words. He could see the effort she was putting into her steps and he felt a pang, a memory he quickly stunted. It didn't take much and he was offered an excellent distraction. Nikola was shocked when The Dragon materialized out of thin air. One moment he was the only stallion and the next the black mustang he had battled for this very land was beside him. Surprise brought a snort from his nose, arching away from him in a half-rear. No hostility was found but rather bewilderment. Before he could open his mouth to answer his inquiry the insta-gloomy mare and he were embracing, whispering sweet nothings. Nikola stood as a third wheel for a few moments, averting his gaze as if he were the intruder in an intimate moment. Well, he was after all. It had been the first time since gaining his title as lead that he felt out of place between the pair. He cleared his throat, head held a bit high just to reassure dominance over the situation. Not that he was mackin' on Dragon's lady. He just didn't want the other stallion thinking he could just waltz right into his home without respect. "I am glad that you've found each other again," his tones sincere and punctuated with a smile. "However I have another arrangement with a stallion at present time. I am assuming the lady will be leaving with you, not that I am kicking you out right this moment. Feel free to take shelter and wait out the storm," he stuck his nose up in the sky, ears twitching as he assessed the clouds as if he were an expert in the subject. "Shouldn't be long now. Spring rains and all that." It was perhaps unorthodox for a lead stallion to allow another male to come in and take a mare out with the leads blessing, but he had no claim over the chestnut and he would like to think of he and The Dragon on good terms. At least, okay terms. "Dragon, if things do not work out with the other stallion, you will be the first I contact if you have not found another home by then," he interjected once more, nodding his head.
