I'm Chimeras with a C

The days turned into weeks and the weeks, they turned into months. As time went on, the pale creature found herself with movements much more labored. The life of the Dunes was home now, she wanted to know nothing else. She must get to know her herd mates though and to do this, she must seek them out. Sighing quietly as her heavily rounded barrel shook softly with her movements, Chimeras found herself in the vicinity of others. First; there were a couple of snorts from another like herself. Her brilliant blue eyes scanned slowly the area around her. Ears pitching forward, the pale mare wondered. Eventually, her eyes fell on the sorrel creature. Much bolder in color than herself but also, one whom would blend nicely into the scenery here. Golden in a way and brown. Much more brown of course than this pale cream and yellow tinted creature that the perlino dun herself was. That was of no concern to Chimeras though. She didn't find others to be of more beauty beyond the color. What mattered to this mare was on the inside of another. What they were like; the beauty of the heart. Not just this though; the mind mattered too. The brilliance of one's thoughts was something she found quite intriguing. How one might think so differently than someone else.

Sighing quietly though; the cream stained mare found herself moving slowly toward this other female. She was not alone for long though, the stallion was soon to approach her before Chimeras even got closer. Pausing a moment, she listened to his words. They were not many but she found herself still marvelling over his tone. She liked listening to him but, she wasn't really sure why. The sound of her name and what he called her by in that foreign tongue of his was mesmerizing really. She loved the sound of her name off his lips. Yes, she was taken with him and sure that he realized it. Moving again; Chimeras headed in their direction once more. Close enough, the pale mare paused. Her blue eyes taking them both in before clearing her throat to let that soft voice escape those pale, almost white lips.

Hello there Badr...having a good day hmm? Gently; her velvety nose bumped his shoulder before drawing back. It was a simple greeting, nothing like the past of when they had first met. Nothing of course, like their mating play. No, this was socializing and nothing so drastic as showing one's affection of another. Turning her attention soon to the bolder; darker mare, she nickered quietly. Hello there. I am Chimeras. You are Vesti if I heard correctly? Obviously Chimeras was one of Badr's mares and so, it need not be stated in the open. Not when it was clear as the noses on their faces. She saw no point in stating the obvious, never had. Why make something pointless when there was nothing to it? No, Chimeras was of a different sort when it came to thinking. She actually used that brain in her skull.
