VIVIANNA
Vivianna’s eyes watched him closely just as he did her in those few moments of silence that followed her question. The painted vixen didn’t know what his answer would be and she felt her stomach churn and hadn’t realized she had held her breath until he answered. Taking in a breath she let out a deep sigh of relief, giving him a faint smile when he nudged her lovingly.
“I’m sorry Kieron but I haven’t been around long enough to see how you are with foals”
She reached over and nuzzled his neck lovingly, glad that he wasn’t the type of stallion to trade off his children for other mares. It would make her more relaxed and secure when her own foal was born which would be helpful considering it was her very first.
“I bet you’ll be a great father. Have you had any foals before?”
Vivianna was curious to his life before, if he had a herd and children before his life in the Forest. Surely with his seasons he had, but there were some stallions out there that hadn’t. If she was going to be his Queen she would surely need to know more about her King. How could she help him and support him if she didn’t know more of his story?
Shifting her weight to rest her hind hoof, she leaned into his thickly made form. Kieron’s warmth seeped through her from his touch which Vivianna wasn’t exactly prepared for. She had known the look in which her mother carried when looking at her father but had never known the feeling herself. Now as she stood there she was beginning to understand. Maybe just maybe she had fallen in love and was only just realizing it.
