Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

The spirit used to take to staying hidden and with his son, today though was a different matter. His son had caught wind that a wolfess, white and pink in coloration had been about wreaking some havoc about the mountain. Blade had been curious, as there was only one fem he knew that fit that kind of description. He was dead though, useless in his current state, with him having passed on his blessings to his sons the brute was all but useless at the moment to the fem he showed his up most devotion too and even died for. Cortana had always been there for him, and he for her. The pair used to be nearly inseperable, from the time she owned the Coral Flower Pack to the point where she ruled the Brotherhood and then together when they had died together, creating what was now called 'Meteor Pack.' He had quite the history of death and destruction under his belt, and now he wanted nothing more than to find the fem he had committed himself too. It was the only thing that made the dead mostly wolf male swallow his pride and appear as a spirit. To be honest he had been enjoying watching his son Havoc live his life from inside the necklace Blade himself had forged when he was about his son's current age. The black and grey spirit now was on the hunt though, searching for the fem. He had tried to save her, but never really believed he had suceeded in saving Cortana's life that day.

It was all very blurry, and very faint. He had been so tired when at the very last moment he had thrown his hulking form over the white and pink wolfess shielding her from the destruction of the Meteor before he himself perished. It was a final act of devotion and love towards the wolfess who pretty much raised him to be the brute he was. Blade was a rather large specimen of the canine kind, he was nothing like the giants Black Rain and Lone Zelda to be certain, but he stood almost a head taller than the normal wolf brute. Even in his spirit his form was hulking, showing the great bulk he had when he had died, teal eyes bright with the fire of determination to seek out Cortana. He wasn't certain he could face her, not in this form. But he still wanted to find her. The mountains where the very first place he knew to look.

She liked danger, Ice Mountain, Wolf Mountain, Minotaur Mountain, and especially Mount Kara, were places she frequented often when they had been traveling together. Of course, none of these places proved as any challenge to the brute now he was dead. He moved through the snow without actually touching it, making his way to the top where he was certain she would be hiding if she were to come here. But that wasn't the only thing that had caught his attention while making his way to the peak. Blade spotted the fiery glow and though he wasn't quick to recognize it for what it was, he was intrigued and followed it with his teal gaze until he saw it vanish towards the top of the mountain.

Curious. He didn't abandon the 'living' way of traversing the mountain, the canine continued up the trails for a fair bit of time before finally arriving at the top. It was an easy feat when you were already dead, and as he rounded the last ledge and made it to the little plateau he spotted the crimson bird. A phoenix. Never had he seen one outside of Prayers, but he had indeed come face to face with one before. It had been for Cortana. He had killed for a death stop blessing to protect her. It had come into good use later that year for himself in a battle. He had caused much death and destruction while he was alive, but that wasn't really the point now. Phoenixes' had life blessings. Blade knew this, but often they seemed aloof to those who were already dead. Perhaps though, he would see if he could perk this mythical's interest. Dipping his head to the bird the spirit spoke a single simple word that was actually his name, "Blade." His deep voice would have been very raspy from lack of use, but given he was dead he had no normal troubles of the body. He lifted his gaze back up, watching Garuda, unsure to how this phoenix was compared to the other of his kin that Blade had once dealt with.
