Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

That look… The brute fought hard not to cave at the murderous glare his mate was giving him, now on her feet and squarely facing him. There was a small argument in his mind about whether or not to make amends for his words, but before it was over the ground began to shake. His jaw dropped just so, the “uh-oh” plain on his face as his icy blue eyes watched the fem rise on a pillar of ice and snow. Yeah, he had gone too far and now he had to pay the price. Well, it wasn’t like he hadn’t asked for it.

“Now, wait a-“ Black Rain began, tone gentle and a bit pleading. But the brute was cut off by the first snowball as it his him square in the face. He shut his eyes against the sting but knew that it wasn’t going to stop with just one. As the shower of icy snow balls began to rain down on him, the black wolf ignited a flame all about his body. The inferno that engulfed him saved him from the fem’s plentiful ammunition and he squinted through the fire and snowy barrage to judge his distance before teleporting once more.

The giant brute appeared behind the angry fem, flames igniting so he wouldn’t singe her. He opened his mouth to speak, but flicked his ears back and fixed her with an indignant scowl at her haughty comeback. “Awe, shut it, you old hag,” Black Rain spat back, a playful sneer on his face as he head-butted her rump to push her down her pillar of snowballs. “You really think I’d leave you for a younger girl?” The brute scoffed, smirk back on his face. “Not a one of them could hold a candle to your flame. You know I wouldn’t.”
