Cougars of the Valley is in CT, but we are all working together, sharing data, tips, and methods. Reporting a sighting here, or on any of the websites is fine. I have other photos of those tracks from Huntington, but they were in deeper snow, and at night, so its not easy to see whats with them. The lack of claws, detail, and size do point to a cat. We don't by itself consider that any kind of confirmation. We are going for more. The witnesses we have spoken to up there are very consistant that this is a large cat. Gary is a great reporter, as are many others like Frank Sousa. They don't buy all they are being told to say the least. There are way too many experienced outdoorsman that have seen these cats over the last 50 yrs.
