Nimbus was trying to herd Amour to a patch of shade provided by a small tree so that they could talk and stay cool, though Amour would have little trouble with that drenched in water like he was. He saw Kahawa in the corner of his eye making her way to the see. His first thought was, the sea is beautiful, I'm glad she's taking an interest in it. When she looked at him with an intense look he knew otherwise. She was doing far more than admiring the expanse of water, she was thinking of what would happen once she stepped into it. "Kahawa!" He shouted and looked back to Amour, "wait for me under the tree." He galloped towards the brown mare that stood at the water's edge.
"Kahawa," he said. "You must know that I will be no good for your father. I am unstable and will not be able to teach him how to communicate with others on this island." He was searching his mind for a solution. What would he do if Amour could not depend on his daughter when he would inevitably fall into a more aggressive mood? Concern was smeared all over his face. "If you must go take your father with you and introduce him to a nice mare that will take care of him. I have a hard enough time trying to take care of myself. In fact, that seems to be all I do. At least say a proper goodbye to him."
With that he galloped over to Amour. "You were right; she's leaving; she's leaving now." He look sadly at Amour. "I don't mean to turn myself into a liar, but I wouldn't be able to provide for you Amour. Not like Kahawa ever could. You do know that, right?" Nimbus's world revolved around himself, and he was quite an issue in it. His world was Nimbus-centric, was there anything wrong with that?
