Something about the small shape in the middle of her clearing called to Co. She had been away for most of the day, and had only just come back to watch another mare making her way away from what Co called her 'little hideaway'. This place was where she had once shared a somewhat peaceful life with her twin, and it was a good place to hide from the rest of the herd, but now, something else was taking up her home. She stepped through the branches, wincing as they tugged at her dark skin, and more into the small thicket. It was a well protected area, which is why Co favored it so well. Her eyes moved all around till they found the brown shape on the ground, a patch of light shining down on its little body. She knew Torix was expecting babes, but she never would have guessed her meeting one. This was something she wanted, but could not have, and so she was making herself more sparse than the others. She could not, and would not get attached to something that was not hers.

and yet, as Co moved closer and closer to the little foal, the more she felt something. She stopped when she hovered almost above it and gazed at it curiously before looking back the way she had come and questioning the departure of what could have been this foals mother. Her eyes seem to narrow as her ears lay slightly back at the thought of this poor thing being abandoned. Turning back to the little creature, she lowers her head to gentle prod at it with her nose, and lick at what wet spots were left from his birth that were not yet dried from the sun. She knew it wasn't her place to do so, but Co had that caring nature she could not ignore.

Pulling away, she waits for the child to wake and simpy stands by, keeping an eye out.
