The time of suspension was not long as Calum practically threw himself on Yindy. But she did not care, her eyes closed as tears slipped free to roll down her cheeks. All this time, all these years she had thought he was dead and blamed herself. The guilt had been a heavy burden upon her shoulders, one she had grown use to carrying as many more grew there as time went on. But this, it felt as if a fresh wave of cold water had splashed her in the face, waking her up from a long bad dream that she had been trapped in for years.


When he pulled back Yindy opened her eyes to drink him in. His green eyes, they were just like their father’s. The roaning upon his sides, his build….if it had not been for the lack of white Yindy would have thought it WAS Tarrant standing on this beach here to rescue his daughter from the hell she lived in. But instead it was her brother, her little brother that was supposed to be dead. Yindy couldn’t keep the smile from her face or the tears from her eyes and as he spoke she couldn’t help but to reach her muzzle back forwards to place beneath his mane, to drink in his scent and brand it upon her mind.


“How are you even alive?”


It was a whisper, her voice a caress against his skin. So many times had Yindy been left in her life, so many times did she have to suffer the feeling of solitude that she wasn’t quite sure how to handle someone actually returning for HER.


“Please don’t leave me again”
