Jim,if it is a mom and cub maybe it will stay in the area and the next time you see prints be sure to take pics alongside a dollar bill or ruler so the size can be verified. Also good to get some easily identifiable background by the prints. Were there nail prints? If so then it was most likely a bear and cub.Ideally it would be great if you could get a plaster cast of them after you have taken some pics.Hope you are better at it than I was - I failed miserably!What type of local did you see the prints in - woods,backyard?
