How's about a taste of something special? (Josh)

She still carries herself with proud steps and her head held high. She might be lonely and in this world on her own now but she doesn't let it get her down. Latte had always lived life to the fullest and why shouldn't she? The islands had in a sense, always been her home. She had never traveled far away from them; she'd never had a reason to. Homes here and there and yet; nothing ever settled down for her. The stallions seemed to come and go and she wondered sometimes, if there was anyone out there for her. She had never found that one per say and yet; she wasn't sure she ever would. This had never meant that the palomino sabino would give up though. Latte had never been a quitter.

Sighing softly; she had weighed in her choices now. She had seen a couple of familiar faces and then, she had seen so many strangers. She wasn't a young thing anymore but she wasn't as old as she could be either. She had some years in her yet and honestly, she wasn't even barely in her prime yet. She was only nine years of age and not quite ten. She had time yet of course and she's not too worried about much of anything. She had her wits about her and her intelligence and for her, that is almost enough. Love would be nice but if it comes someday, she'll be ready for it. Well, maybe. She didn't think that anyone was ever really ready for love. She had been there once or twice maybe but then, it had perished like everything else in her life seemed to.

It is chillier than she's used to up here but this had been her decision. The Inlet was cold and there was snow all over the place. The water was cold as she trotted through it and whickered a little. Her bright blue eyes took in the world around her though; ever the curious creature that she was. She's shivering a little as she finally comes to a pause and her voice cries out to the open air. Was the stallion in and if so, would he mind the company of another? She pulls her head in close to her chest as she shakes a little. The water had sprayed up onto her winter coat and caused her to shiver a bit more. She tried getting rid of the droplets as much as she could before switching her silvery tail over her haunches. Another clear; soft call sang out for Josh then. She was a somewhat demanding mare but she was pretty sweet when it counted. She was showy and flashy due to who she'd once been. Perhaps a princess no more with her father and mother gone but that was alright.

Latte's never been too worried about what others thought about her. They either liked her or they didn't. She's an interesting creature like that and why should she be so worried about impressing everyone out there? Just to be herself was good enough for the gold and white mare.
