Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

There were many words that could describe her, though perhaps the one that had stuck the strongest with her had been alone. All around her, time and others moved and yet, she moved at a different pace, one that others did not prefer to fall into line with. She moved slower, drifting through the currents with little rush or urgency; she spent countless nights atop the hills of Diveen, conversing with the stars as others below tended to their business; she moved differently and because of it, she found herself alone. Even Mithos had drifted away from her, finding a closeness with Ambrosia; Zaphkiel had almost faded away entirely, and her elder siblings had never paid her heed. Perhaps some fault was her own, her desire to bring closeness between her father and herself all but gone - her mother seemed unobtainable too, constantly busied with the presence of all her other siblings. Her adventure, her life, had all but been taught to her by herself.

It is her loneliness that brings her out of Diveen in the midst of the night, following the stars that flash bright in the distance. To navigate during the hours of night had fast become a skill of hers, her paws well adjusted to moving so quietly, the smokey grey of her fur radiating in the light of the full moon. She was like a wisp of smoke, the speckles of white over her body like the stars themselves as those owl-yellow eyes search for... something, someone. She simply sought what it was she lacked in her home - company and understanding. Seek, she did, and yet she had not a clue as to where to find it.

Quietly, she moves along the cusp of the rocks, edging along with the water rushing below her. Winter was fast entering the air, the cool rush of air radiating off of the fast moving water. She could feel it in her fur, the whistling of the wind echoing down the valley of rocks. Above her, the moon sat idly by, luring her further and further along the stones until she stood at their final point overlooking the point where cool water became tumbling rapids. Somewhere, she could hear the foot falls of another, the slapping of paw against stone and the breakage of a twig - whoever, or whatever, it was had come to her. Company no matter what the form. Without glancing back, she spoke, her voice so gentle and yet loud, confident as her tail swayed slowly.

"Will you stay?"
