Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Return to Lunar Children

i call her the devil, 'cause she makes me want to sin...

My encounter with the boy Alucard had been interesting, but nothing more really. In fact, he'd hardly spilled all the details of his apparent plan and I hadn't been able to find him since. Besides, since my father's return from battle, I've been more inclined to stay in Glorall so that I might hear the stories of how he won, and to watch my mother be so agitated. It was in my best interest to watch the two of them for I have fast become very observant of others, their inner thoughts hardly able to be hidden from me - there's always a hint in their walk, or a twitch in their facial muscles... always. Of course, it got boring after a while, and I had fast returned to my siblings where I belonged. You can imagine my pleasure when father had told us to go with another wolf to the free lands for games, particularly since it had been a wolf from Iromar. I'd heard of them other than from when they had taken my father away... some wolves called them Demons. Imagine that, my sister and I spending times in the midst of some creature from Hell. Lucky us.

Most of all, I am curious about him as he leads us away. It is as if he makes no effort to conceal his displeasure in this, and I can't help but wonder why he is bothering. If it had been me, I would have simply pretended to take us out, or perhaps had sped up and lost us somewhere along the way. You couldn't be blamed for children not being able to keep up, right? It's his unlucky day though, for my sister and I are both quick on our foot, all too used to navigating awkward terrain. I prefer to stay close to my sister, though, trailing her footsteps and keeping a close eye on the larger male, making sure he does not so much as look at her wrong. My siblings are a precious thing, and in the absence of Praetor, I have become her primary guardian.

Eventually we come to a stop though, once we have paraded about the crags for some time. I slide by my sister, brushing the dark of my pelt against the silver brilliance of her own. We were born side by side, so of course it is where I will remain, and it is even more obvious that I know how she operates in these situations. Vesper doesn't need to use words so much, not when I'm around. I smile a little smugly really, a devious crease in my lips as I sit back, curling my tail over my paws and meeting the other boy's gaze levelly. There's no denying it. He looks well and truly displeased, bored even though I am not sure why. Aren't we interesting enough for him? Sinclair knows games. Perhaps he will cure the boy's boredom, but for now, I wish to cure my own.

"How did you get stuck doing this?"

I ask him bluntly, cocking a brow expectantly as I watch, waiting for that giveaway hint - a twitch, a furrow, a grimace, anything really. If he does not make these games happen soon, then I shall play my own.
