Xanti trotted besides the many sand dunes, his nostrils flaring to pick up any scent of water. He was exploring and quite bored; even though he wished to see all that his home had to offer, he was curious about the mare he had met when he first claimed it. Exploring was so much more fun when doing it with someone else and he didn't want to stray too far from the mare. She was quite young, and while he didn't doubt that she could handle herself, he was still concerned anyways. Snorting and picking his feet up a little higher, the stallion rounded one of the sand dunes to see the mare sliding down one in front of him, a loud whinny coming from her mouth as she did so. Xanti snorted and stepped back as he tried to figure out what she was doing.

The Kiger Mustang was quick to turn and go up the sand hill, probably preparing to slid down again. Xanti nickered and stepped forward, waiting and watching to see the light mare do it. It was intriguing and he was considering joining her but decided against it. He wanted to explore with her and sliding down a sand dune could be done while they were exploring. If she joined him, that is. A low riding wind snuck between the dunes and threw stinging bits of sand at the grullo's dark legs, his tail flicking to try and dismiss the sand like he would a fly.

"Is that fun?" He called to her, too eager to stay silent. He didn't realize how much he had been looking forward to see the young mare again, but it was a good feeling. Pressing his ears forward and stepping a bit closer, he tried to stay out of the way in case she wanted to slide down again. Already the stallion was having second thoughts on waiting to try out sliding down the dune with her, but he kept himself in check and simply watched the mare for a response.
