The swim across the sea was careless and easy for the warm summer day made the usual angry sea ruthless and cunning. Occasionally Lyden’s alluring blue gaze shot behind him to ensure that Fantazer was still at his side. Each time he wasn’t disappointed for she never trailed away from him and as his feet felt the soft sand beneath him as they came to the forest Lyden hoisted himself out of the water and turned back to watch the mare do it as well. Lyden stepped away from the mare briefly to expand his legs into a square as he shook violently for a moment. Groaning as he stepped into his normal position Lyden looked back at the grullo paint nodding to her. ”I hope that swim wasn’t to treacherous” a soft wisp of a smile spread across his pale lips before he turned to head towards cluster of trees that just beyond them would lead them directly into the forest.

”follow me into the forestress of mystery M’dear” glancing back at her Lyden tried to hold back his chuckle that threatening to erupt from his lungs. However, he failed miserably and a calm easy chuckle came flowing from his mouth as he began to walk forward into the forest. Lyden carefully lead her through two big pines who’s trunks were twice the size around as Fantazer and Lyden put together. He shook his head and startled to realize that with her he felt comfortable with. It was something that he hadn’t felt with anyone – ever. The closest thing he felt that resemble comfort was with Skylar and that had only been recently.

Tilting his head in thought Lyden looked over at the elegant mare who’s personality was far sweeter than most he had come across. He decided to pause for a moment ”before we continue further Fantazer I want you to know that if you don’t want to stay or if you find that you don’t feel comfortable here that I will not force you too. “
