The rocks drew my attention like no other, and I honestly could not resist them anymore. I walked, as fast as I could across the tumbled down rocks, my larger frame made the rocks tip as I wandered over them. I heard the waterfalls, and that was where I was headed. I had to go play in the water, just had too! The rocks began to get slippery the closer I got to the waterfalls. I was not headed for the small pools beneath them, no no no. I wanted to play up top, where the water rushed by and you had to pay attention. I guess I got my daring side from someone on daddy’s side of the family. Maybe my uncle. I’ve heard stories about how he was what did daddy say, ‘plain nuts’. Maybe that’s who I got my crazy side from.
I saw the waterfall and squealed in my own way, bouncing as I moved into the water. Oh boy oh boy! The feel of the water rushing by me was exhilarating and honestly, nothing could beat it right now. I was so stinkin ready to go go go! The water was just too inviting to ignore. I stepped into the chilly water, my toes digging into the wet earth within the water. I used this as an anchor to keep myself in place as the water rushed past me, cascading down onto the rocks below. It would be a disaster should I loose my grip and fall into the water. Yup yup yup, it sure would.
I was large for a girl, and I hated that. I was huge! As a little girl I always felt so darn out of place that it was not something that was pleasant to deal with. Maybe now it wasn’t as unheard of as when I was first born, now that I was seeing other females of roughly the same size. I needed some friends, honestly I really really did. This was out of hand. I was all alone, no family, no friends, no where to go.
