Dögun watches each of her movements, listening to the sweet sound of her giggle, she was quickly winning him over. He knew that it was foolish to think that she would share the same feelings for him as the ones that were beginning to develop for her. He suspected that she had many loves in her life, he had found a few crushes, but none that would hold his heart. His memory flickers to the palomino filly of his home herd, his first crush...her laugh still a sweet memory. From her golden lips only kinds words were ever spoken. They had frolicked amongst the trees of their homeland...playing games well into the night, until both of their mothers called them to return. A smile traces across his dark lips at the memories of her...

"Maybe I am my dear Freya...but it is the truth that I speak." Her next words bring a surprise to him... her concern for his strength...for his safety. Reaching his muzzle towards her, his lips find her nape. "Oh...Freya. I few concerns for myself, as long as my herd...and you are safe. I will allow you to make the swim as long as you come home. His russet eyes search for hers, he wanted her to be safe as well. Burying his fuzzy ears deep into his ebony mane, trotting towards the tree line, he slows as she veers in front of him. Reaching out he places a nip on her hindquarters, tossing his fuzzy head, he happily follows her into the woods.

Dropping his head he follows her deeper into the trees, until reaching a small clearing. His hooves carry him closer to Freya until his body touches hers...cuddling closer until he fells content. Reaching over he nudges her with his nose...knowing that this storm would not last as long...winter was losing her grip on these Lost Islands...day by day.
