Narrowing his gaze he pondered thought and thought of how she had continued to make such a huge effort on getting to know everyone here, wondering now if it was because whoever told her that constantly repeated in her head. Breathing in and out slowly his ears rest quietly and lazily against his pale head while he continued to listened to the buskin girl who meant way more to him then she’d probably ever know.

Silence fell after her muffled comment in between the strands of his mane and before he could inquire if she was upset or simply just so exhausted from carrying their foal. He wanted to say something to her again but she continued after a moment saying that she was glad he found her in the meadows because the gods have plans for them- the forest is just a bonus.

Now he is really interested and when she continued commenting about how her goddamn ruled the forest Lyden could not help but sigh in a huge relief. Finally he felt she was opening up to him and it felt exhilarating. He fought so hard to get skylar to open to him and she still didn’t although how he met her and how they met were completely different. It felt thrilling to think that she may have been taught or think on some of the things he does, with gods, and souls mates. ”I bet you’d make your goddamn proud if you ruled the forest” wondering what her thoughts are going to be about having the herd run by the quote she said and having her tell everyone made him shake with anxiety.
