Rules � The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders. � Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission. � All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say. � Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met. � You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page. � Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

�That was not what I was expecting from you� Felony replied as his eyes followed her as she moves to stand at his side. The brute does nothing to be any closer to her, leaving the space she has provided between them. �But it makes it easier for what I have come to talk to you about.� He said, casting his gaze out at the water for a moment. Her words still whirled through his mind making it hard to pick out which ones he wants to use.

�With the new rules in place every mare must leave after two seasons of residence here.� He said, though his ears pinned for a brief moment to display his dislike for said rule before they rose again. �But that rule does not apply to three mares; one belonging to each higher rank. Fatale is Rade�s chosen mare and now that I have been moved up I am also to choose a mare.� It is then that his golden eyes seek her face again, wondering just what she is making of this so far. �Since it is your desire to stay here I am offering you the position but it may not come free of charge.� It is there he pauses wondering if she will make the connection on her own and if she likes this place enough to pay the price. �I want you to at least provide the Lagoon with one colt.�

Felony knows there is a chance she may never produce a colt. There has been cases he has found a mare will only give fillies. But for a place to call home and the protection he offers to give and perhaps more someday he hopes that she is willing to pay the price he has stated for a permanent place among the Lagoon.
