This is where you need to post to officially put yourself on away. If you are going to be away from the site or unable to post regularly for an extended period of time, you may go on away for up to one month, during which your characters will be protected from things like battles, raids and escapes. After this you and your characters will be considered inactive, and you will need to rejoin should you return.

For the sake of clarity, please clearly state 'away' or 'semi-away' in the subject line of your post, and make a new post stating 'back' on your return. While you are away you cannot post in-character, and any in-character posts will be classed as you returning and your characters will no longer be protected from that point.

You may also let us know here that you are 'semi-away', meaning posts from you will be slow, but all normal rules still apply to you.

If you wish to quit the game, please leave us a message here to let us know, though be aware that any characters without lineage (i.e. those who were not born or bred in-game) will be deleted from the Members page. All other characters will be listed as inactive unless you request for them to be deleted.

Okay, so I�ve suggested this before during the lagoon/peak voting but I�ve been thinking about/discussing it a bit and I really think we either need a new board for homeless herds or to re-open a couple of old territories.

The falls are treated more as a meeting place and are a bit intimidating/unsuitable for small, homeless herds. Now that that homeless herds can�t stay in the lagoon either; we need somewhere for them to go (The rules still state homeless stallions and any mares they possess can stay in the lagoon but if it's already at it's max number of mares, stallions wanting to start a herd are severely limited). I think this could really work for young stallions who aren�t ready to own a territory, can�t find a second position and/or aren�t suited to the lagoon (because they do want a herd).

We could even have a clause where stallions must have two mares before they are allowed to claim/challenge for leadership of a territory. This would really bolster activity as stallions would have to actually work to get the land in the first place. I�ve seen a couple of times where a stallion has claimed a land and only had 0-2 mares for the entirety of their rule. This seems unfair to the stallions that want a proper herd but can�t get a land. The small herds could remain in the homeless herd area and the ones who actually want to work for it get the main territories.

EDIT Looking at my battle question below, (I think, though I may have misinterpreted)Shiva suggested homeless stallions can't claim mares. If this is the case, it limits stallions even more considering there are so few lands and positions available. It's likely to cause some players frustration and inactivity due to not being able have a functioning band stallion.

[RE-OPEN/NEW TERRITORIES]
Activity is up enough to support this and should encourage it to rise further as more people would have a shot at owning a territory. I do think that one extra territory on each island would be too much but we could have a drop in sea level to make two territories on Cimarron inhabitable again or have the discovery/emergence of a completely new island.

Anyway, that�s my suggestion and I�ll leave it here for everyone else to give their opinion :D
