Dögun
We'll ride in the gathering storm
With each passing minute the storm worsens, the whistle of the wind ripping past the caves entrance, the chilly rain water transforms into puddles in the center of the cave. Dögun had never liked the confines of caves, their walls holding him in, making him feel claustrophobic. He hoped that the storm would soon blow itself out, but his experience of life, knew better than that. As their bodies touched in this cramped space he almost felt self conscious, but at the same time this was closest they had been since her arrival in the Inlet. As she speaks, her words almost a joke, a chuckle rumbles deep within his chest. She tried her hardest to not make jokes but he understood her bits of humor.
"It just might be for the god's, I wouldn't frown upon it personally." As she leans into him, their warmth slowly consuming the cave. Her words fill the cave once again, bringing relief, that she had been well. "I worry about you wandering all alone, but I know that you enjoy your quiet." At-least around him she chose to be quiet, but maybe he could cox her out of her shell.
"I searched you out, as soon as I saw this storm barreling down on us, I left the herd to find you. I knew that harm could quickly come to you even if you are quite capable of taking care of yourself." Reaching his dark muzzle around he nudges her to remind himself that she was real and that she was safe, for now. Flicking dark tipped ears to and fro, he waits impatiently for any words that she would speak. He knew very well how close they both had come to their demise. If he had not entered the cave when he did, he could of been struck down by the bolt of lightning that had been thrown at the cave's entrance.
