Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

MAGNUS was, once again, spending a few hours on the crossing to break up the long hours of cold he endured in the bay. It wasn’t that he didn’t enjoy it there, he really did, but he had very little to do once his rounds were done and Soljor took up the next shift. The spotted boy needed a little more excitement in his life, so the crossing seemed like the best plan.

AS he trotted briskly towards the shore, he had every intention to of returning to Tinuvel, when a familiar scent caught in his nostrils; Pilar! It seemed she must have gotten bored with home and sought to find some find some fun on the crossing too. Picking up the pace, he followed the scent on the wind; blue eyes searching for the distinctive curve of the bay mare’s ears. He slowed a little as he came to the border of the lagoon, frowning. Why would she venture there? Especially during the fall.

HE didn’t like it. Perhaps she thought of it as an adventure but it really wasn’t safe. Gaining momentum again, he travelled further into the territory until he caught sight of sparkling blue water and a familiar face. ”Pilar! he called out in a hushed tone, trotting as he neared her, ”What are you doing here?” he questioned, ”I think we should leave” and he motioned for the direction of the exit.
