LIVE TO TELL THE TALE | luana cont.

choose your battles
Daughters had to have some sixth sense about the weakness of their father. Soljor was glad that Luana was easy to guide. The filly was definitely young. Then again, all mares seemed to know what it meant to be herded much like stallions seemed to instinctively know how to drive. Soljor couldn’t say when he learned or if he had. He followed after his daughter, glad when they reached the sandy beach.

He was going to attempt to take her back to Acelynn now. The sun was starting to crest out over the ocean painting everything in red and orange hues. The sea lapped against the shore. It was a lovely scene. The Bay was always breathtaking.

Luana stopped and begged him for more playtime. Soljor was going to answer that fillies like her did need to get their rest. He was going to suggest she seek out Stardust and Harlequin later in the afternoon. He would even help her find them. But Luana had other ideas. Her little hooves pressed against his shoulder as she tugged on his mane.

“Ow! Ow! Luana!” Soljor twisted his neck around to nip at her hip. It wasn’t hard, it was meat to get her to let him loose. “Let go! It hurts!” He snorted and determined to release her clenched teeth. Playtime? Right now she would be lucky if he didn’t march her straight back to Acelynn while delivering a lecture on things not to do.

Starting with pulling hair.
