On 24 Aug 2014 we repeatedly saw a mountain lion and its kit in our field between 3 PM and 7 PM. We also saw a stand off between the kit and a doe which eventually ended with the doe turning and running off, but not at great speed. My wife has written a four page account of the sighting, but I do not want to copy it all and do not know how to attach it, nor the poor photos that she took. The adult looked just like the photos in Wikipedia. Replies:
