Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Rude?!

Pilar’s ears pinned back, flat against her skull, and she lunged toward Psychedelic suddenly as her lips curled with contempt. However, she stopped short of him to align herself with Dia, pressing the side of her body against hers. Her friend seemed real enough, but she was still confident in her delusions. None of this could be real. If this were real, Dia would be home with Şahin. While she was glad to feel her body against that of her friend’s, it only added to the improbability that this was anything more than a dream. At least Pilar’s subconscious had been kind enough to conjure up a friend for her.

Yet she did not want to assure Dia that she was fine because she wasn’t. She didn’t need to reason with her own mind. She was more concerned with Psychedelic at the moment, and how he could possibly be so short-sighted? Didn’t he know?

“Of course I ran! I was in one place and then suddenly I’m not! Suddenly, I’m here! And you are here, and there, and…”

Pilar began hyperventilating, her sides heaving against Dia and her eyes wide with panic. She was losing control. Losing her mind. She was trying to explain something she did not understand to a creature that wasn’t even real.

“You’re asking questions I can’t answer,” she finished, her voice weak and trembling.
