This is where you need to post to officially put yourself on away. If you are going to be away from the site or unable to post regularly for an extended period of time, you may go on away for up to one month, during which your characters will be protected from things like battles, raids and escapes. After this you and your characters will be considered inactive, and you will need to rejoin should you return.

For the sake of clarity, please clearly state 'away' or 'semi-away' in the subject line of your post, and make a new post stating 'back' on your return. While you are away you cannot post in-character, and any in-character posts will be classed as you returning and your characters will no longer be protected from that point.

You may also let us know here that you are 'semi-away', meaning posts from you will be slow, but all normal rules still apply to you.

If you wish to quit the game, please leave us a message here to let us know, though be aware that any characters without lineage (i.e. those who were not born or bred in-game) will be deleted from the Members page. All other characters will be listed as inactive unless you request for them to be deleted.

My apologies - since the issue is regarding a technicality, I didn't think there was any need for a lengthy discussion. But if you want to discuss it then we'd be more than happy to accomodate that.

My own feelings on the matter are that you should have waited until you returned from your trip to post your reveal, because we allow players to take a week to do so - after the initial 3-day waiting period - and because it is quite clear in the steal rules that steals must not be posted early in any circumstances other than those outlined. The reason for this is because every minute counts as a chance for the person being stolen from to block said steal. While it is unlikely that Lyden would have blocked your steal in those last 3 minutes, it is not impossible, and if we were to make an exception and validate your steal then not only would that be unfair on Secret, we would have to reconsider our steal timestamp rules or else risk getting into messy future situations with fueding players.

That is my own personal view, at least.

With regards to your battle situation, I'm not sure what to say about that since I wasn't involved. However, in the future if you have a grievance I'd ask that you email us or bring it here to the inbox, because that way we're sure to see it - we don't always keep track of what's happening on the ooc chat board. But if you'd like to discuss that here now then that would be absolutely fine too.
