Through the calm of the forest, the pale mare follows Braylen, mimicking its silence until he speaks. “Peaceful.” She adds, thinking of all the places she has been. Locked away are memories and invisible maps of these places, most crumbling away with age, many she cannot forget even if she tried.
“Have you always lived here, Braylen?” she asks curiously as her scarred body moves with ease along the forest track. She can tell he is indeed young, but whether he has gone elsewhere, other than the island he found her on, she cannot tell for sure. It seems though, judging by his character, Braylen has been raised right and she can't help but wonder what she would have turned out like if the same could be said for her; if she had of been raised and cared for in a home of her own.
When he stops she calmly steps beside him, a smile still evident in the glint of her deep blue eyes as she listens to his words and the sound of flowing water. It seems their destination is always a water source, to Georgiana's delight, because whether it is a rushing waterfall or a gentle stream, she always finds comfort in it's hushing sound. With a content sigh she does as he has and lowers her head to drink her fill, long tresses falling over her eyes in the process. “I will be sure to remember it” she says before lifting her head and turning to face the direction she heard his welcoming tones, “it's just what I needed.” Though content, she was incredibly parched before.
“How come the place we were before isn't safe?”She asks in an almost concerned voice, suddenly remembering that he said he would explain why when they got home. She has lived in unsafe territories before and to be frank she would like to know what she's getting herself into.
