Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

I NEVER LOOKED back

those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it
I looked at her. Her eyes were wide, she was scared. Something had happened. I didn’t know what, but I tried everything I could. I lowered my head and my voice. She backed away from me, I don’t know what she was seeing. Then my ears pricked.

He’s gone. Who’s he? Sahin? It would make sense, but where did he go? You cannot let your boy face the same fate. What fate? What had happened? I pushed forward, towards Xina.

“Xeenuh,” My voice was urgent. “Whud ‘append? Whud fade? Whud ‘appened da mah son!?” I was close to the much smaller mare. “Focus on meh, Xeenuh!” I was trying not to let the fear creep into my voice. The Black be damned, if I had to run to my son’s side I would do it now.

I wanted to go home. But most of what she said didn’t make sense? What had I missed? Too many questions. Questions that needed to be answered but I wasn’t sure Xina could do it. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. I looked at Xina, my eyes cold and harsh.

“Xeenuh,” My voice was as void as my eyes. “Where iz mah sun?”
