HIS questioning of their daughter's behaviour had never been an attempt at a lecture but may have led to one if he had the heart or need to follow it through with it. Amity had much the reaction he might have as a child however and pretty much answered his question with a resounding no. He chuckled, reminded of himself as a foal and shifted his gaze up to the approaching Elexzra who also seemed to be supressing at laugh. "Hey!" he protested with mock offence as she shook sand on him, turning his head away momentarily.

AS he turned his back, the fleeing figure of Amity flashed past his eyes as her mother caught her off guard. He swung his head round to look at her, raising an invisible eyebrow. "I don't know hiding behind me, I think your mother could take me" He joked in a half whisper that was intentionally loud enough for Elexzra to head.

THE spotted boy’s attention switched back to the black mare as spoke and he snorted softly in amusement at the statement. Stepping closer, he pretended to squint at the spot she pointed out, "Oh yeeeaaah, that’s too bad" he pretended to agree and followed with mock concern. "Although, I've never seen a bald horse before. Guess I should eat a bit more and speed up the process" he laughed in response to her balding as much as he was growing fat. Any chance of that particular conversation ended abruptly when the black filly grabbed a chunk of Elexzra’s tail and pulled. Am amused smirk found the bald faced boy’s lips as the pair took off and he might have joined them if not for his injured shoulder.

MOVEMENT up ahead caught his attention then and his gaze found the familiar form of Stardust and an unfamiliar colt who was clearly one of her siblings. He would have assumed that the colt was another of Fly’s if he had not seen her with a larger filly and if the colt did not possess the distinctive dish of an Arabian head.

THE blue eyed boy dipped his head to the yearling filly, ”Only the beginning, I’m sure there’s more to come." He cast a curious though somewhat tense glance at Elexzra, she could be prickily with others but she had been in good spirits moments ago and the two were only young. She might even appreciate having Amity distracted by someone her own age.
