Soda was still grinning. She gives a tiny nod at grai's words, "completely worn out and fast asleep," she laughs, looking around him and toward the trees. The girl's were dead to the world with how tired they were; meaning a huge break for both of the older horses. Looking back to the chestnut Soda can't believe how lucky she was to have met him. He'd been a breath of fresh air to her lonesome self, despite the fact she had alethi with her then to keep her company. It just wasn't the same. With Grai she was experiencing something her mother had with her father, and she liked it.
"You know what that means?" she leans in closer, giving a dramatic pause. Her eyes sparked with a more energetic light. "Alone time for the adults," reaching forward she pushes at him before prancing away again, only this time she doesn't stay facing him. She turns her back to him and heads in the direction of the stream, farther from the herd.
"Let's move before we wake them," she says over her shoulder, not bothering to see if he'd follow. Alone time meant snuggling without the girl's making their grossed out commentary and bugging them every few minutes. Now they could snuggle in piece, and Soda was defiantly taking advantage of that, and most likely Grai would too.
