I was unsure of whether or not we were missed, myself, Neilina and Oliza. I had taken the girls to get a bit of quiet for Oliza would be able to recover after her mother’s passing. She had been barely six months when she had woken without her mother’s warmth to keep her warm. Instead her mother had been cold, lifeless. Unknown causes too her away from Oliza at a young age, and with Neilina the same age, I had taken her in, seeing as Sophia had been the only female within the land I had actually spoken too, other than Acelynn. But it hadn’t felt right to stay in the bay after what happened, at least until now, since it was easier on Oliza. I only hoped Soljor would be okay with our disappearance.

I moved slowly, The girls pressed together as they walked beside me. They were nearly two peas in a pod, the same marking style, just two different base colors. Nei was firey red, while Liz was a cream-tawny buckskin. They were the best of friends though, and it couldn’t make me happier to see that. The bay was once again covered in a multitude of colored leaves, from brown to orange to red to pink, everything was covered, and it made me happy to be home.

I stopped, my gaze traveling around before I looked to the girls. They seemed to have found a pile of leaves that they were playing with, tossing the leaves around like toys, all the while giggling like baboons. Oh, it made me happy to see them in this way. It wasn’t too long ago that it was hard to get Oliza to even smile, let alone laugh. I only hoped that coming home wasn’t going to send her backwards, and that she would have a chance to form a relationship with her father. Well, that both would be able to. Speaking of him, I gave a faint smile before I called out, wondering if he was around..
