The Pony King quietly watched the waves crash onto the ashen sand, one after the other. From his vantage point he could see the entire beach until it disappeared to the north around the corner as it bent to head to the line that separated the Inlet from the Bay. A breeze blows in from off the ocean, tossing his frost kissed ebony mane off of his thickly muscled neck. He opens his dark nostrils to breath in the salty air, deciphering each of the scents that floated in on it. He searched for the musk of a stallion who would be drawn to Tinuvel, searching for mares to steal for themselves. He stomps a hoof at the thought, he had hidden his mares away in a high valley. Now he stood watch, but he knew that soon he would return to them, checking over them to insure that no stallion had come in his absence.
He pivots away from the grassy knoll, he heads towards the trail that lead up to the high clearing. He settles into a ground covering tölt, his hooves strike out in the four beat ambling gait. His ochre eyes warily watch for any wanderer that had snuck into the Inlet, as he sweeps the clearing his eyes fall on a familiar grullo and a fiery dun filly. He halts in his tracks, his head thrown skywards. Adelae? A nicker is thrown into the spanse between them, eagerly he lopes forward. His worry for the pair melting away, they had made it to the Inlet, without any harm done to them. As he nears the pair, he slows to walk, his nostrils searching out Adelae's. Adelae. Where have you been? I have worried for you and our daughter. Where is Inessa?" He pauses before his voice becomes stern and lecturing.
His attention is drawn to the dun filly at her side, she was now a yearling. She had inherited his height and some of his features, but she also had her mothers traits as well. A smile touches his dark lips. "Hi, I think your mom might of told you about me. I am your dad..."
