There is a tale and it is well known, of the misery that life might bring…
But also of the rewards to those that endure and persevere,
For where there is sorrow there will be found great joy.
The stranger in the dark greeted him with silence. Thorns pricked high as the stranger stepped out and revealed herself a beautiful bay minx perhaps only a shade lighter than himself. Even in the dark he could tell such a detail. Her white tassels that lined her legs also made her stand out in the dark whereas his coloration was more plain. There was a mild dip to her dial, a hint of Arabian blood perhaps, the dark man also noted. Another important thing to note, she was a lady by her lonesome, and on an eve as glorious as this the desert hearted brute was hoping to have himself a companion.
"Well now, my sweet…that was not so bad no? You see I do not bite." His voice was upbeat and playful, a stark comparison to the seemingly coy mare. Being met still with silence he dares a bold step forward. The brute already had sensed her uneasiness where he stood, but now the distrust was more apparent in her amber oak eyes. He grinned playfully as he rather enjoyed the cloistered space. He was nimble on his hooves and was prepared should she decide to lash out. "I am Sarim. What's your name love?" There was a added huskiness to his voice now, and an almost unshakable confidence in his dark brown eyes, dangerous yet tantalizing. Internally, he was quite resolved to getting to know this quiet beauty.
