Helen if you read that report I mentioned, that's clickable in that article, you will find that the Rhode Island DEM deliberately ignored and concealed facts surrounding that cougar incident there. One that was at the end confirmed. We have found a pattern in at least Southern New England of concealing and hiding reports and evidence of cougars. If the witnesses of that RI incident had not been highly qualified, and very insistent, that one would have gone down as a "bobcat that dragged a road killed deer away". Clearly the witnesses won that one. So much for "unreliable" witnesses.... Replies:
