Had it been so long since he had seen the youthful virile? He appeared to have grown since last they had met, which was a fond reminder that the two belle's he had come across with the young hellion may also be grown young women. The scent of the gentler sister could not be found…fool thought the desert mutt. The bay beast stopped beneath some tree and thought to eat of the offerings of this new land. No sooner had he reached for a bite did the hailing of a stallion fill his ears. This made the dark beast smile as he raised his head, ears pricked and eyes searching for he who called. Before long the younger stallion was upon him, narrowing the space that separated them only moments ago. Well the boy certainly did know how to make an entrance. There was something Sarim found familiar in the youth's approach, how he held his crown high with a sense of pride and protection of what was his. It seemed Nephilim was doing quite well for himself.

The youth did not express anything very civil, not even a greeting. Silence did not linger as Sarim had sidestepped gracefully, backing a stride to keep a small space between them. There was a swift grace to the man who had lived a long time in the desert and among her children and had seen much in his (still-young) years. He laughed casually, not as to mock the boy but in amusement. Sarim could not help if his reaction would be mistaken for mockery. "Well now, good morning to you too! Do you not remember me my young friend? I remember something of a shy and quiet lad in the falls, but I see you have grown and are doing well." Al-Sarim was not a naïve fellow, nor was he someone who was easily disturbed or angered. He whipped waved his tail calmly and tilted his head out of habit, holding it just a tad lower than Nephilim's own.
