hold every memory as you go

its' okay for you to hate me

Pink nostrils expand as the pale cream stood quietly. Lyden’s ears rested forward for a few moments watching the movements of Jormungandr. It is clear that whoever took the forest from him, is not the same stallion who resided her now. Curious Lyden watched smoky stallion wondering idly if he would come to chase Lyden off. Jormungandr however took charge of the situation and began her short journey over to him with what looked like a foal beside her.

Instantly his heart jumped to his throat as emotions spread through his veins like his own blood does. He remembers everything or so he believes. The small fragile body of Jokurlros invaded his memory bringing a smile to his lips. is it blood? he had asked her looking at the long bright red streak that started on the left side of her delicate dished face down to her shoulders. I thought the same thing but it appears to just be a marking. I’ve have not seen anything like it before They both had never seen anything like it before making their daughter all the more special.

lyden Jormungandr says followed but her question on why he was here. Soft blue eyes stare at her for a second drinking in the familiar features of equal blue eyes and white blaze that reached from her left ear down to her muzzle. ”Jormungandr” he replies with a deep husky voice that had grown with his travels. ”I’m here for you” Lyden finally says as his gaze drifts from her to the foal beside her. The colt reminded him of their son and again his heart began to ache.

Swallowing hard his eyes come back to Jormungandr while skimming over her beautiful deep golden coat noticing that she had not changed much. His travels have made him tired, physically speaking. Emotionally he had matured and became wise to the world around him. He had watched over creatures over the years connect with each other including other horses. Each scenario was unique and brought great waves of his past and feelings to wash over him like a bucket of water. ”I want to apologize for leaving abruptly. It was selfish and you deserved so much more then that”. Lyden now pauses to take a slow breath. ”you, you are my family. You’re all I’ve ever needed and I know telling you this now after so long might be confusing. I left because everything around us fell apart, and you, well I knew you had gotten pregnant by another. Taking a moment to glance at her foal he could remember the anger he felt. ”I do not know where you are in your life right now and I understand that I lost the right to know long ago. But, I want to repair the bond we shared that started the day you came home with him. That is, if you haven’t found some else to love you in the ways that I do but stayed instead of leaving Now he holds his breath as his eyes had fallen from her foal to the ground staring at her feet.
