Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

To Take What I'm Owed

.:|TITHE|:.
...Before I Take What I'm Owed.

He was confused and he felt so lost as he walked through the mucky lands of the Lagoon. The humidity in the air made him feel weighed down and sluggish, even more so than his thoughts. Bitterness had begun to creep up in his mind. Soon after he had been deemed a year old his mother had sent him to the land of the bachelors. Not because she felt it would be good for him, but because she had raised him nearly with the single purpose of revenge. His burden rested on his shoulders while his desires sought refuge in his heart.

Feathering hooves squelched in the mud with his movements and ears pinned back in unhappiness. This was not the Bay, it was not Tinuvel. His cave was beyond his reach. The only people he had known were a swim away and his mother had told him not to return until he had something to show for his efforts. Dark eyes looked helplessly around him, trying desperately to find something that could bring him any type of try companionship, anything like the bats who lived on the ceiling of his cave. There was nothing in this place. Even as a stallion’s commanding call ripped through the air, Tithe felt alone.

Approaching the two gathered stallions, the colt cooled his expression with a deep breath. The childlike feelings that simmered in his heart would never be seen on his face or on his body. Instead he came forward as he had been taught. Starting to grow into his body, young flesh had started to bulk up under the steel grey of his armor colored coat. Friesian blood had taken a strong hold of his mane, growing it into a thick and wild mohawk that had not yet had time to bend over his neck. Dark eyes recognized the one stallion he had met on his visit. The other was a stranger to him, but his scent seemed to be one in the same of the Lagoon.

He looked between both of them, his head high, hiding his uncertain curiosity.
