Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Running in circles, that's why

Beauty I'd always missed
With these eyes before,
Just what the truth is
I can't say anymore.

Pallid stallion meandered aimlessly through the new land he had chanced upon. He supposed he should find a "home," after all, isn't that what most souls did? To find a place where they belonged? Not for Le Blanc, for his home was alongside his siblings, but they were no more.

His once warm eyes of ochre remained fixated to the ground with eternal grief. It were as though lifting them upward was far too burdensome.

Soon enough, the ground beneath him transformed. He had entered a new terrain. Melancholy pace was brought to a halt and those heavy eyes lifted only briefly - to acquaint himself with the new surrounding he had entered; the beauty of the Lagoon that lay spread before him.

First to catch his attention was the waters - so vibrantly blue. However, the sight only brought a deeper sadness within his chest. Such a blue he had only seen in the eyes of his beloved sister who was no more than just a fading memory - a haunted voice drifting upon the winds. His sides heaved as a heavy, heartbroken sigh escaped him and empty eyes fell away from the waters back to the ground beneath him. He turned away, to prevent any part of the glorious blue to seep into his vision. It was just...too painful. The wounds had yet to heal.

Nares inhaled the scents of the loam. There had been others, but none where fresh. Was this place empty? If so, all the more reason to move on. He couldn't stand the blue of the Lagoon - especially alone. Yet, it wasn't company the pale he sought. No, he sought out distraction from his memories, from his heartache, from the pain. If none could be found here, like all the other places he had traversed through previously, he'd just continue on his way to nowhere.

Some try to tell me
Thoughts they cannot defend,
Just what you want to be
You will be in the end,

LE BLANC
