If he’d ever known Dany before this time, he’d know what she’d done was completely unlike herself. He’d know that she was not one to venture with the first one she met. Though social, she kept her feelings reserved. She kept her past lidded. She, in a way, sensed he was guarded as well. No matter though. She would not press him for his story, as she assumed he would do the same. She did not anyone to feel sorry for her. That’s usually what people did when they heard others talk about their gory pasts. That’s just not who Dany was.

The Bay itself was more than Dany could have ever imagined. The sheer beauty of Nephilim’s home was enough to make Dany’s breath hitch. Snowcapped mountains painted an inconceivable backdrop to the crisp waters of the Bay. The air was cool here. It was much colder than the commons she had just traveled from. “Your home is absolutely magnificent,” she trailed off slowly. The arid desert of Dany’s previous home paled in comparison to this landscape.

She walked forward slowly towards the frigid waters of the Bay. The wind whipped her forelock over her eyes. She gently shook her head as her hooves met the cool water. She sank slightly as the sand became squishy beneath her. A small smile played at her lips as she turned her milky body to see Nephilim. As she walked towards him, she kicked up small bits of sand. She extended her muzzle to his cheek, caressing softly. “Thank you for bringing me here,” she whispered softly.
