Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

At long last, Gaia had done it. She had managed to survive on her own for several years but that wasn’t what had made her so happy as she walked along the crags. No, what made her heart leap was that she had managed to gain a spot in the already growing kingdom of Spirane. Roman had welcomed her with open paws and already appointed her as a shepherd of the mountain. It was nice to feel like she belong somewhere again and to have things to do. But there was still something missing in her life. It made her feel sore, which is why she didn’t often think about it, but Gaia was lonely. Yes, she had all the wolves she could possibly ask for surrounding her in her new home. But this was a different kind of lonely.

There was a pang in her heart that yearned for Zaphkiel, but she quieted it instantly. Her imprint had a mate and a family of his own. He could no longer fill the hole that was slowly growing bigger and bigger in her heart. Gaia, like many wolves her age, desired a mate. She wanted to feel the same love and compassion that she saw others receiving. Was it so hard for her to find someone to share a life with? There had been one male she had been interested in, but he had moved on and left Gaia behind. Another sigh left her mouth as she continued to trot along the many crags that surrounded the base of the mountains.

Take a left, the russet wolf found herself gazing at a small pond that had formed from melted snow on the top of the rocky crags. This seemed a good place to rest. She took a few laps of the freezing water before lying next to the water, watching the reflection aimlessly. Things may be difficult in her personal life, but otherwise, it wasn’t so bad. She stretched out and laid on her side, allowing the sun to warm her entire body before moving on again.
